We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our clinical team. The OR RN plays a vital role in providing exceptional surgical care, ensuring patient safety, and supporting surgeons during procedures. This position requires clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure seamless patient care.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes in condition during procedures.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient care and surgical activities.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the Surgery Center’s mission and goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including infection control and patient safety protocols.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and perioperative nursing care.
• Proficiency in aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions and surgical environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  
  

Required Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) setting preferred.
