We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our clinical team. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our clinical team. The OR RN plays a vital role in providing exceptional surgical care, ensuring patient safety, and supporting surgeons during procedures. This position requires clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
- Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes in condition during procedures.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient care and surgical activities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the Surgery Center’s mission and goals.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including infection control and patient safety protocols.

Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and perioperative nursing care.
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions and surgical environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Texas RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience preferred.
- Experience in an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) setting preferred.
