NHMC upcoming elections for Board - LAST CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

Are you interested in getting more involved with the NHMC Chapter as a board member?

We are currently taking nominations for positions that will begin in July 2020.

Positions available include:

President-Elect:

• One year term; becomes President the following year
• An active member of the chapter who serves alongside the President in order to become familiar with the duties of the position. In the absence of the President, fill in to ensure accountabilities of the President are met

Membership Chair:

• Two-year term; no prior board experience required
• Assists with sign-in/registration at every meeting
• Maintains membership list/contact information, including national AACN website
• Works with Communications Coordinator to assure website member information current

Communications Coordinator:

• Two-year term; position may be one or two persons; no prior board experience required
• Maintains chapter websites, Facebook. Works collaboratively with the Education chair to distribute flyers for monthly meetings and special events.

Conference Chair or can have Co-Chairs:

• Leads team in the development of educational events/conferences including obtaining CEs
• Work in collaboration with the Program Chair

Program Chair

• Two-year term: no prior board experience required
• Collaborates with education representatives of each of the hospitals, assisting with securing speakers and vendors for monthly meetings and special events.
• Assists with planning special events/conferences
• Creates or assists with the creation and distribution of flyers for monthly meetings and special events
