Call for Nominations to the Board - Voting at May 29th meeting

Are you looking to get more involved with the Chapter, grow as a professional, and make an impact. We are currently looking for individuals that would like to serve in the following positions: President, President-Elect, Secretary, Conference Chair.

President

• One year term; Previous years President-Elect
• Lead the board of directors in their governance of the chapter
• Oversee meetings of the board and chapter, agenda development, meeting facilitation
• In partnership with the board and committee chairs, develop future goals & objectives
• Along with treasurer, provide oversight for chapter finances
• Along with board, ensure the chapter meets all obligations to National
• Working with President-elect, annually provide for continuity of chapter leadership and board transition meeting

President-Elect

• One year term; becomes President the following year
• Active member of the chapter who serves alongside the President in order to become familiar with the duties of the position.
• In the absence of the President, fill in to ensure accountabilities of the President are met

Secretary

• Two year term; no prior board experience required
• Responsible for keeping the minutes and other records of the chapter
• Records all meeting minutes and distributes to the board

Conference Chair

• Leads team in development of educational events/conferences including obtaining CEs
• Work in collaboration with the Program Chair
